This year we were picked to host the Gun Clubs Holiday party. You have to understand our house it is a one level 3000 sqft home. It is one of the older 70's homes with all the different accusticule levels in the ceiling in which made it easier for us to turn it into an 1800's home.
As you walk through the front door you are walking on river rock that could lead off in 3 directions: The Cowboy Room, The Kitchen, or the great room which connect the kitchen, to the great room and to pool hall.
We renovated this home for the last 5 years from an 70's look into an 1800's Hotel room(cowboy room), the great room(the sherrifs office), a two sided closet(is a gun safe),One bedroom is my Victorian Sewing room, The back room off the greatroom is a pool hall equipped with poker tables, pool table in the cente, The main bath is equipped with a clawfoot red bathtub and has faux painted brick shithouse around the stall. It is reall quite amazing if I say so myself.
The only room not finished is the master and we are so pooped we decided to wait for awhile for them .
Well, this house was decorated in all cowboy and it has wore out my cow. 4 christmas trees, 5 garlands, tons of flower arrangements, snowman collection, the village, etc. The whole house looked like Christmas threw up on it, but it was beautiful and only took me since the middle of Nov.
They came they saw, they all had a great time and then we sent them home and flopped on the floor. There's nothing like the gratification of people loving the hard labor and love into what you have created. So we just held each other and before my eyes closed I think I heard The Rev say I Love You!
